You know photography has taken over too much of your life when you are willing to do this, ooooooh goodness…
Well…yes…I was in a park, and there was a tree, and there were some bees, and there was a beekeeper, and there was me, with camera, doing something very dumb. A quick flick of the macro button and I proved just how crazy you can be taking photos. I wanted to get in closer but because the bees moved so much the auto focus kept messing up, so this is what we got to settle for. So, about 5 inches from the swarm of thousands of bees, no protective gear, and taking photos  the things we do for our craft…This is just another one of those totally random photos that I thought I would stick up here, no real tie to the rest of work, just something I thought I was share, a testament to how foolish I can be. ps. im violently allergic to bees |

are you perv??
i really love this masterpiece. currently i read a book about professional macro-photography by gilles martin, and i saw something similar in this book. that's the reason why i know how hard it is to get such a picture (and of course how DANGEROUS, even if you're allergic!!!)
