Anyone who has seen a Buddhist temple knows how colorful and vibrant they can be. Anyone who goes into one would be surprised by the level of detail in everything around you. Walls are not simply painted; they are boldly sculpted and meticulously detailed. The paper is all made by hand, icons are hand cast and even the cloth that the Buddhist Lama’s sit on is painstakingly woven in the traditional manner. Everything is a tribute to their devotion and faith and here where they spend mornings chanting from prayer books everything has the mystical quality you would come to expect from such a devout religion.

A real feast for the eyes and mind. I think I'd be too taken by all of those intricate details if I was there to be able to focus on anything else! :wow:

THis picture is SO FABULOUS! I want to suggest it as a Daily Deviation... I noticed that your flash reflected on the glass, do you think you could fix that? I know I'm being nit-picky... I  the colors and patterns!

Great shot and nicely lit. I love the details and colors in the pic
:iconavotius:
hehe its not flash, its the lightbulb in there that was lighting up the entire place, which because I had to crank the sensitivity of the camera to maximum (its a wonder this shot turned out clear at all) it did some nasty things with that poor light

Which place is it? Looks really spectacular...
