One of the things that I can’t resist is to opportunity to take photos of ducks. Ducks are one of my favorite animals, on and off the table.

These ducks were being tended by and old women who could barely walk. She lumbered around bringing them water and food and then sat down leaning against a cane watching them waddle back and forth.

Canon 20D, Canon 17-40mm f/4 L Lens, 1/100 sec, f/7.1, ISO 100

just beautiful! I can't explain properly why I love this photo that much... but I just love it! Especially the atmosphere, this dark background... the story behind it

btw, ducks belong to my top fav animals as well

They look pretty young still. Nice use of contrasts, especially the orange. Once had a duck as a pet...followed me everywhere.

Very nice shot. It's so dark, but still great because the motive is coming out of the darkness instead of being hidden in it

hehe, when properly prepared, the chinese way, they are an absolute delicasy. Oh yum. Next time you are in a china town go look for a window that has a bunch of ducks hanging in it, go buy one, or half of one, or whatever, ya gota try it.
