Artist's Comments

Fast portrait photos in both black and white or color. A old simple sign from a small neighborhood that is being removed. I look inside the shop showed an old red chair and a red background painting on a piece of wood, all well charred and surrounded by the clutter of burnt out wood and other building materials.

I wonder if this new shopping mall thats going in on top of this place will have a photo lab too.

Amazing...this could be in any city in the US ~ developers seem to have a commonality - which is not necessarily for the good of the community - like the sense of depression that the blk&wht brings out.
Very good :)

like the tunnel type composition, good dark forground to light background. Nice picture.

The feeling I first got from this photograph is one that fed another complex obstacles in a course that was unable to be beaten, so to speak. The words helpless and weak almost came to mind.

I love how you made a moment as filthy and old as this into something stunningly beautiful. Great job.
