Fast portrait photos in both black and white or color. A old simple sign from a small neighborhood that is being removed. I look inside the shop showed an old red chair and a red background painting on a piece of wood, all well charred and surrounded by the clutter of burnt out wood and other building materials.

I wonder if this new shopping mall thats going in on top of this place will have a photo lab too.

Canon 20D, Canon 17-40mm f/4 L Lens, 1/60 sec, f/5, ISO 200

This is powerful and encourages me t think about what the people that passed through here also thought. Really emotional photo but I will not critique it because that would take away from the photo.

I love that you but this is black and white, it really brings something out in it that would be harder to see if it was in color.

The contrast and lighting of this picture is fantastic! There's something very unique about how it is placed as well. i"m pretty sure you've heard this 10,0000 times (or probably more) but you are very talented.

I dunno what it is about the deterioration of some urban landscapes that I find fascinating, sad and sometimes beautiful. I've been known to look at some gutted out old buildings for hours just to remember all the small details in sketches that I do later. I love the lighting in this ^-^

So sad. Is that the old houses you told the story ? With the big store ? Your picture is excellent, and the story is moving

It's sad. But it happens... everything that once was, eventually will be no more. All we can do is keep it within. So nice of you to take this photo... to share it with us.

b&w at its best!
a visual pleasure.

yet another place with character
killed by a faceless, plastic-phantastic mall.

Welcome to reality. The so called progress sucks!

Great photo!

The feeling I first got from this photograph is one that fed another complex obstacles in a course that was unable to be beaten, so to speak. The words helpless and weak almost came to mind.

I love how you made a moment as filthy and old as this into something stunningly beautiful. Great job.

Amazing...this could be in any city in the US ~ developers seem to have a commonality - which is not necessarily for the good of the community - like the sense of depression that the blk&wht brings out.
Very good :)
