Its small, cold, probably leaks water, most likely has a few infestations, and its no longer there. And despite all of that, its a lot cooler looking then your house I bet. Love that old style chinese window frame and the old tile roof. This is most likely a more recent house build on top of the original house below it when the owners could finally afford to expand a little. I also like that balcony they got going around the side of the house, it seems like a nice place to sit, although I doubt it could support an "american"...ehem...

as and when i have the money and the land it would be lovely to build a proper chinese house from scratch. inside would be modern of course, but the exterior would be lovingly authentic like this.
