A place I have been many times. A couple hours outside the city, its where you go when you are fed up with the noise and want to get some country style food.

Most of the houses are 400-600 years old and there are a few nice places to sit around and munch spicy dofu bbq'ed over bamboo.

Wow, this is very different from a lot of your photos...very nice to see something's still left of the old China, I hope they can learn to preserve their culture before it's too late, because this i absolutely beautiful.
