There is a problem with some photographers, they get emotionally attached to an object like their camera or lens. Not much unlike how way back when hunters or soldiers would give their rifles names changing the relation from man and object to something more intimate. Well I have not gone so far as to name my Leica but I have gone as far as purchasing it a mate. A Leica 35mm f2 Summicron will now be accompanying me on my photo outings. Now I have to work out the potential of this set up with what I am capable of doing with it.
On to other things, over the news wire today here in China: There is only two years of rice left for the country.
Why? Easy actually, there are so many farmers coming to the cities that there is not enough people growing rice anymore. Families of 5 or 6 and 3 of them come to the city to work leaving older generations in the countryside to tend the fields. There is maybe enough for them selfs but not much left over to sell.
Also everything has gone up in price here, meat (pork) is about 16 yuan (about 2.28 dollars)for a half kilo, about a pound. That is quite high indeed....
Much similar is in Poland and whole Europe, even if we are paid more, the inflation is 'eating' the whole raise, and so we are stuck. And yes, I love my canon, I would tear the hands and legs from ones ass of if one tried to harm my camera.
thank you for making this precision
WTH IS THIS? APRIL FOOLS HAS PAST!!!
